Two Sunday's ago Irongate had an Open House. Now, if you've never heard of Irongate...do you live under a rock?! It is gorgeous. Daniel and I shot one of our favorite weddings there May of last year. You can see them here ---> Aubrey + Josh. I cannot say anything BUT GOOD THINGS ABOUT ALL THINGS IRONGATE, so we were overjoyed to be invited to their Open House. The Open House was held on February 21st from 12-4 pm. If you missed it, chances are there will be more. Believe me, you want to check out this venue!!!
The team of Brett Loves Elle packed up and headed out to Cronton, Oh (it is a bit of a drive but totally worth it). And of course we couldn't forget our pineapples. Are we really Brett Loves Elle without them? If you don't know us...we love long walks on the beach, wedding photography, pineapples, and really...ALL THINGS WEDDINGS to be completely honest.
The lighting in Irongate is to die for so being the crazy awesome photographers we are...we took some photos!!!
This Open House has some pretty sweet vendors. From photographers - caterers - decorators - and oh so many more! It was great to see so many new faces and also to catch up with so many vendors we haven't seen in awhile! You can check out some of the tables that were set up. They were so pretty, everyone did such a great job.
This naked cake was so perfect. I am just waiting for the wedding we shoot to have a naked cake. I love how Irongate can be rustic and/or glam. A great venue choice for any and all weddings.
So...right next to our booth was an adorable baker named Jen. Bakery Bites by Jen has the BEST macaroons I have ever had. Plus I loved that they were mini so I didn't feel so bad eating a ton of them! She did a fantastic job setting up her cute little booth with all her goodies.
I had a blast getting to meet some new photographer friends! These lovely ladies made our time that much more enjoyable.
There were some awesome caterers at Irongate, really what would you expect from a venue so pretty. Catering By Scott, Weiland's Market, and The Berwick were all in attendance.
Matt was our DJ extraordinaire and I couldn't have been happier. He played the coolest songs...I kept finding myself singing along to every song he played. There were prizes and fun to be had all night...and if you stuck around you got to see an awesome couple win a free ceremony at Irongate. How cool is that?
All in all we really did have such a great time. From the beautiful venue to the awesome vendors. It was so great to meet the ones we didn't know and catch up with the ones we did know!
