Daniel and I met Lauren and Max at Panera in Canal. They had both finished classes for the day. Man, that's dedication. Congrats to Lauren for graduation college and planning a wedding in the same year! We can definitely tell you've had a lot of help from your mom. We love seeing all her posts about your wedding and just how excited she is for you to be getting married!
While talking with them, we found out Lauren's mom was a photographer so they were going to be so fun to work with. For their engagement mini, we decided on Walnut Woods Park. It turns out we have a few awesome parks around our house that we seem to forget to use! This time we didn't forget and planned the shoot at sunset. We wanted those perfect golden hour photos and we were not sad about the results.
We always start each shoot in a simple location so our couples can get all the awkward out right off the bat. For our couples who aren't used to cameras capturing their every move, it can get a little daunting. But, we promise we talk you through it the whole time. Turns out, Lauren and Max didn't really feel awkward. Mom being a photographer and all. They were pro's! Well done mom in preparing them for other photographers. They seriously were naturals! I love how comfortable they were the entire time. It really shows in their photos.
We were super excited about this path of white flower trees, someone probably knows what they are called but I just think they are lovely. Plus, we had a shoot the next weekend and they were gone! They don't bloom for long so I am so glad we got them. Lauren and Max were wearing the perfect spring colors.
ENGAGEMENT TIP: Dressing for your season is a great option. They're session was in the spring, but before the flowers were everywhere so they pink hues were such a great choice. We also love when our couples dress up a little bit. Even a simple dress can make the photos look that much nicer!
Love seeing our couples have fun at their shoots! That's what it's all about. Feeling so comfortable with us that we capture those adorable candid moments of your love.
Now comes the photos we were all waiting for...SUNSET PHOTOS! I mean who isn't a fan of sunset photos? It's something each of our couples love and we try to make it happen for them at every wedding if possible.
I just want to give Lauren and Max a shout out because sunset photos are always a fun time. They held those kisses or poses and nailed every one! These are probably some of my favorite sunset photos we have. Look how perfect they look! Not only do they look great but they had fun doing it. Shooting your wedding is going to be a blast!
Once our sun set, we finished up with some cute photos in the field. If you'd like to see the rest of their awesome gallery simply click the link ----> Lauren + Max Mini E-Session
The team seriously can't wait for our road trip to Gardens at Homestead in Mt. Hope. We are so excited to spend the day with you as well as your friends and family! Headed out bright and early this morning. See you guys soon!
