I give you my hand, my heart, and my life. I choose you today, tomorrow, and every day for as long as we both shall live.

A FOREVER KIND OF LOVE: #BecomingTheBeebes

Allie and Alex tied the knot at The Vault on E. Gay Street, Downtown Columbus, Ohio. It was an amazing celebration with so many family and friends. Brett and I had a blast -everyone was so warm and welcoming right from the beginning! Bride and Groom First Looks took place in the alleyway right after Allie put on her beautiful lacey Justin Alexander Wedding Gown. It was adorable how excited Allie was for her reveal -she was glowing! From there we took a short walk to The Ohio Statehouse for Bridal Party and Bride and Groom Portraits -and for more laughs!

I can’t believe the wedding is actually here! Up bright and early for a full day of activities. Making our flowers, getting our nails done, rehearsal at The Vault, then dinner at Lindey’s. 👰🏼❤️💍

Cocktail hour and Reception followed their Ceremony in the same location. As we swept the Bride, Groom, Bridal Party and family away for portraits in the Alley, the rest of their guests enjoyed cocktails and The Aloha Booth upstairs. We finished out the night upstairs rocking it out at the Aloha Booth. Allie and Alex, we had a blast celebrating your love, thank you so much for choosing us and we hope you enjoy your previews! xoxo, Elle.

Our wedding planning experience was like many others. We took care of the big stuff like venue, catering, photographers, the dress, and DJ right after we got engaged. Then, life got busy and a few months went by with little wedding planning taking place at all. Summer came to an end and we realized that we should probably get the “little things” done. There were a lot of them, but together, Alex and I were able to accomplish everything we needed to make our wedding come together. We definitely couldn’t have done it though without the help from our family and friends!

Take the wedding planning in stages. Alex was great at this, and I definitely needed reminded of it often. We would make small to-do lists and leave it on the counter and check things off as we completed them. It helped me not feel like I had to get everything done in one day but it kept us moving forward getting things done.

... When I woke up next to my husband, I thought, “I can’t believe the wedding is all over.” Alex and I have a pretty unique and special family situation in the way that our families have known each other and been close since before we even started dating 6 years ago. That made the entire wedding planning process so fun because it felt like we were already just one big family getting SO excited for this big celebration. We all laughed together, cried together, danced together, and made memories that will last a lifetime. I always told Alex that it would have been so much easier had we just eloped. Now that it’s over, I’m glad he stuck his ground on having the wedding that we did because it was the most PERFECT day. I wouldn’t change anything and now that we’re on our honeymoon enjoying our new titles as husband and wife, I will always remember October 20th as the best day of our lives.
